3M ONYX Model 1190 Graphic Art Printing PrePress Camera Platemaker 27004 Hours

Description

I purchased this from a print shop that either went out of business or moved and auctioned all of their equipment. Several presses, paper drills, etc. It was all equipment they were using. I spoke with the man that ran this particular machine and he told me that it did indeed work before I even asked him.
It appears to be well maintained. The gear motor outside of it there is probably and old non-working one that had to be replaced. I have not tested that loose motor.

There were no developer or developer stains under it when I picked it up. Since it has been in my warehouse it has not leaked a drop of developer. On the ride in the truck however it leaked developer all over the place. So in anticipation of it having to go on another ride I have not put any more developer in it. Included is two 5L bottles of Stabilizer and a 5L bottle of activator that has about 1L left in it. Neither of those are developer and if they were I would not put them in because I don't plan on making any plates and it will just make a shipping mess. I power it on. It hums along. It starts at 0 and counts up to 100 like it is self checking. I hear it hunt for focus and find it after just a second or two.
All of the lamps and lights appear to be working. There is a small 220V 500W Halogen lamp inside. When it first comes on that lamp flickers a little and then comes on. There are 3 lamp boxes included with it. One of those boxes is empty and I assume its in the machine. There is a note on the box that says replaced in 2013. That is probably the lamp that is flickering and after 7 years it might be time to replace it. The other two boxes have brand new lamps in them. They appear new but are also 7 years old.
There is a roll of black film in the machine. I have opened the roll compartment several times and that may have ruined part of the roll. Not sure how light sensitive it is. There is another roll included with it in an opaque bag. I did not open that bag because I am not sure that light will not ruin it.
There is one of the legs not attached to it and the other 3 legs are missing. It is sitting on wood blocks.
The glass bed is perfect with no chips cracks or damage. A ding and a scratch here and there on the metal body but nothing major. Very good cosmetic condition. Clean overall.
