    Ancient Roman Egypt AE Drachm Bronze Coin, minted in Alexandria.
    Euthenia ,
    holding grain ears
    reclining on Sphinx.
    Thick multi-colored layered patina. (Beautiful color does not show well in photos.) Not sure which Caesar, probably Marcus Aurelius.
    Approx. 32mm, 18.9 grams
    AE Drachms from Roman Egypt remained in circulation well into the Byzantine period.
