Frank Summers Buffalo Bills Game Worn & Signed Red & Blue Nike Superbad Pro Cleats
Frank "The Tank" Summers is a fullback and special teamer who is currently an NFL free agent. He was drafted in the fifth round of the 2009 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played college football at UNLV. Summers became the first Rebel runner to be drafted since Ickey Woods went 31st overall in 1988 to the Cincinnati Bengals. Summers has also been a member of the San Diego Chargers and the Buffalo Bills.
His cousin, Martin Tevaseu, was a defensive tackle at UNLV and currently plays for the Indianapolis Colts.
Nicknamed “The Tank” due to his build and powerful running style, Frank Summers signed with University of California out of high school, transferred to Laney Community College. He then chose UNLV over Southern California because the Rebels offered him a chance to remain at running back while the Trojans wanted him to move to fullback. Utah and Washington State also recruited him.
An immediate starter for the Rebels as a junior, Summers started all 12 games, rushing for 928 yards and scoring six touchdowns in earning Mountain West Conference honorable mention accolades. The powerful running back turned in three 100-yard rushing games: 103 yards on 22 carries in UNLV’s upset victory at No. 13 Arizona State, 109 yards on 27 carries vs. Iowa State and 109 yards on 20 carries at Colorado State. His rushing total dropped to 740 yards in 2009, but he improved upon his scoring (eight touchdowns) and was chosen to participate in the Texas vs The Nation game. Summers rushed just once for three yards but was a standout blocker on kickoff returns and caught four passes for 54 yards, including a 19-yard grab and run into the end zone to give his side a 7-6 lead. Summers is also the only player in UNLV history to have led his team in both rushing (six) and receiving (four) touchdowns in the same season.
Frank Summers signed with the Buffalo Bills on April 18, 2013. He scored his first touchdown against the New York Jets, on November 17, 2013. Summers had six carries for 17 yards and a touchdown along with five catches for Buffalo in the 2014 season.
The featured size 12 red and blue Nike Superbad Pro Cleats were game worn by Frank Summers as a member of the Buffalo Bills. The hard-hitting fullback has signed the Cleats and added his number "38" in black. The Cleats show good use and were obtained directly from Frank "The Tank" Summers!!!!
