Up for bid is a wonderful Victorian trade card for Welcome Soap sold by Curtis Davis & Co. of Boston. The front of the card shows a colorful lithographic illustration of two Victorian-era gentlemen dressed in period attire greeting each other. Two women can be seen in the background. When you supersize image 1 you will see that the artistry on this card is exceptional and the colors are still vivid. The back of the card is blank. (see supersized image 2). This fine 120+ year-old antique card measures 2 3/4" X 4 1/4" in size. It will be a fine addition to your Victorian trade card collection.
