    Description

    Up for bid is a lot of two USN flight logbooks that belonged to two crewmembers of VOC-2 squadron that flew TBM Avengers and FM-2 Wildcats.
    The two men were on almost every mission together, as the turret gunner and radioman/bombadier on an Avenger.
    The two men joined VOC-2 in early February and by the end of the month left Ford Island on the USS Fanshaw Bay to join the fight in the Battle of Okinawa.
    One of the logbooks have some strikes to Miako and Ishigaki Air Fields listed, as well as some notes on some missions in the back.
    Also included in the grouping is a small My Life in the Service diary by one of the men.
    It has some pages filled out, including a small section of diary during training.
