Description
Very rare, one-of-a-kind Nike Seattle Super Bowl 48 parka that was provided to Defensive Coordinator Dan Quinn for the Super Bowl at Metlife Stadium in Rutherford (Meadowlands), New Jersey on February 2, 2014. I am not positive if this jacket was actually worn by Coach Quinn, as he was provided a few different styles of jackets for the game and the weather was unseasonably warm that particular day (although it snowed a few days before and the day after the game). However, it is the only one in this style that was presented to him, and is very rare. They sold similar jackets at the Niketown flagship store in NYC the weekend of the game and they sold out in minutes and went for big money on eBay and the secondary market soon thereafter. To get one that was actually presented to the team is, needless to say, virtually impossible. I didn't ever see this particular jacket sold, though - only the hoodies, Sweatless Jackets, heavy down parkas and silver puffer jackets with the same markings. On a side note, Quinn's defense - which featured the legendary 'Legion of Boom' backfield - smoked the Denver Broncos and their vaunted 'best offense of all time' to the tune of 43-8, with the Broncos' only scores coming on the last play of the 3rd quarter - when the game was already a blowout. Don't miss out on this great piece of Seahawks and Super Bowl memorabilia!
