If it is a hero, it includes the upgrade deck for their xp for the campaign, their campaign card, and their skirmish card.  Included is a picture of what Gyn Odan and the other 3 heroes in the core set would include.  Also includes figure of course.  Any questions, let me know!  These are out of the box and are not painted.
If cards or anything else says "x5" or something else like that, it typically means that it is that card type multiplied by that number of cards.  So "Chewbacca x2" would have two Chewbacca cards.  If it has 5 shown in the picture, and the drop down says "x1", it is only one item.
Most figures come with the tree cards and the unpainted figures.
Single items, or you can order multiple quantities.  If you order one, you pay shipping.  If you order multiples, pay the shipping that Ebay asks you to.  Usually 1 item and 2 items are the same price in shipping, but if you order over a pound worth of items, I have to ship priority.  If the calculated shipping messes up, I refund the difference.  You do not even have to ask.
