    Description

    Six chromolithographed in gold leaf advertising trade cards for Soapine  French Laundry soap. Each shows a young child and is titled in French for a month of the year.  The reverse is marked, French Laundry Is The Best Soap Ever Made, Kendall Mfg. Co., Established 1827, Providence, R. I.  All originals, 4.5 x 3 inches.  Mars, boy with broken umbrella has small bumped corner.  Avril, boy fishing has very minor age.  Mai, girl with flowers has minor age.  Fevrier, boy with mask has minor age and shadow in gold leaf.  Septembre has small edge crease.  Juillet, girl in ocean has corner damage.
