Attention all Marines and Marine Corps patch enthusiasts!  This is a FINE example of a unit logo patch for
3rd Force Reconnaissance Company
of the Fleet Marine Force.
These can't be found just anywhere!
Not, of course, allowed on the uniform, but worn on all manner of off-duty civilian caps and clothing as novelty items.
Recon Marines are, of course,
the elite of the elite!
And Force Recon cranks it up a notch even further!  The
scuba diver, pathfinder torch,
and
full jump wings
on the patch symbolize the
deep reconnaissance
capability made available to the force commander (in this case, the FMF) by Force Recon.  The units trace their heritage back to the famed amphibious reconnaissance units of WWII.

This is a BRAND NEW and UNUSED patch.  It is NOT a war relic but a recent manufacture item!  Embroidered on red twill with merrowed edge and plastic heat-sealed backing.  Colors are clean and bright.  See ruler in photo for size comparison.
