  • Condition: This authentic, original booklet was published for the US 3rd Arrny in Germany in very limited production at the end of WWII. The booklet titled "Third Army - A brief History of Operations in Europe. The book was for personal use only & not for wide scale publication. The booklet details the operations of the 3rd Army from 1944 to 1945. Incredible detail listing the various Corps such as V, VII, XV and XX for example. Also included is a detailed fold out map of the operations. This booklet also contains one of the largest photographs (full page) of US General G.S Patton Jr the commanding General of the 3rd Army. These are very hard to find as a historical collectible. The last one of these to come up on the market was sold as part of the estate of Lieutenant General Geoffrey under General Patton This is not from that estate. As you can see from the pictures the booklet is complete but has some yellowing etc from age. Please see photographs of the actual booklet that you will receive.

    Very Rare Collectible Limited Print WWII US 3rd Army Mission Accomplished Occupation ( of Germany ) printed in Germany for Commanding General Patton and Officers
    This booklet was published for the US 3rd Army in Germany in very limited production at the end of WWII. The booklet titled "Mission Accomplished Occupation" ( of Germany).  The book was for personal use only and not for wide scale publication. The booklet details the operations of the 3rd Army from May 9 1945 until feb 15 1947. Incredible detail listing of the various divisions subjugating Occupied Germany. Also included are detailed listing of the various phase out of the 3rd Army. This booklet also contains one of the largest photographs (full page) of US General G.S Patton Jr, the commanding General of the 3rd Army. These booklets are very hard to and a highly sought after historical collectible. The last one of these to come up on the market was sold as part of the estate of Lieutenant General Keyes who served as Deputy Commanding General to General Patton from North Africa to Italy in WWII. This booklet is not from that estate but was from the same limited printing and reemphasizes the rarity of this original WWII period produced booklet.
