Vintage WWII Soldier New Testament Pocket Bible Franklin D. Roosevelt The White House Washington.
Given to my Navy Captain grandfather during WWII while stationed in Pearl Harbor during the war.  He
was stationed in Pearl Harbor before, during the bombing and the 4 years of war.  As a captain in the
Navy he traveled to Washington D.C. on occasion and possibly received the bible then.  Upon returning
to Pearl Harbor he gave the bible to my mother who was 8 years old in 1943 as she wrote her name
inside the front cover.  My mother was also in Pearl Harbor before, during the bombing and duration of
