This is a rare, original WWII unit history booklet for Company D of the 289th Infantry Regiment. This regiment was with the 75th Infantry Division during World War II. This booklet is a first edition, printed shortly after the war ended. It contains 35 pages of text and pictures. The 289th Infantry Regiment saw extensive combat in the Ardennes during the Battle of the Bulge and in the Colmar Pocket and Ruhr Pocket in Germany in 1945.
