    Description

"SEVEN ROADS TO HELL--A SCREAMIMNG EAGLE AT BASTOGNE" is the personal memoir of then U.S. Army Private Donald Burgett. Here is his account of the battle at Bastogne, a small Belgian crossroads town where seven roads met. His unit became the "cork in the bottle" of a German onslaught--Bastogne became the key to German victory. They immediately found themselves in close combat without enough ammo or food, in freezing weather and deep snow without winter clothes. Yet, for seven days they held out against the best German's could throw at them buying time needed for Patton's 3rd Army to redeploy from the south.
Book is HARDBACK with DUSTJACKET published in 1999. It is in VERY GOOD CONDITION, measures 5 3/4" x 8 3/4" and contains 225 pages with 10 pages of  photographs.
